Church of The Incarnation

Dallas, TX

In 2015, Pritchard Associates completed work on a 60,000 SF addition to The Episcopal Church of the Incarnation in Dallas, TX. The project, which reflects the existing Gothic architectural style, included a new 500-seat Sanctuary that is in flexible seating configurations for worship, a 300-seat Chapel, a large Welcome/Gathering space with a new front entry, an information center, and a new Education building for Youth and Adult Ministry. To allow for keeping the majestic oak and other hardwood trees that are prevalent along McKinney Avenue, the building was interspersed with courtyards celebrating these trees as a part of outdoor gathering spaces. Additional project scope included an expended Narthex and a new parking lot to increase parking capacity. The project won the prestigious CMAA 2016 Project Achievement Award.
